I was pointed to your blog via one of Cara's emails, and pop in from time to time. I love it here. :-) And this video clip was soo deadpan funny... I am married to an electrical engineer and we have a cat (well, the neighbour's cat who moved in), so this is very close to home.
So the next time our Tuffkins claws our brandnew still-shop-smelly sofa, delivered just yesterday and now covered in a protective white plastic dropsheet (hubby is away until Friday night - I'll leave him to erect a cat-deterring scaffolding then), I will give her with some serious corporal cuddling (she hates that!).

My own corporal cuddling has been so relentless, one of ours has given in and decided to enjoy it. (The other one always did.) Now what do I do to protect our own brand new sofa!
