Wanted: new psyche

Can I trade in my mind for one that doesn't respond to "I feel fat" with "I need chocolate"? Or to "I have so much to do" with "ooh, cube bugs!"?

How is it that a perfectly acceptable brain, no scratches or dents, logic circuits all functioning (on a rational level), can make this kind of error?

Maybe you've got the causality reversed. Your mind needs a cube bug fix so it bring the "much to do" trigger to the surface.

Just one of many rationalizations in my repertoire.

I completely get this. Or rather, do it myself.

My reasoning is that having lots to do is unpleasant and causes stress. Therefore, wabbing is required to make you feel better, and more able to tackle the work. Only, I generally wab until I'm so far behind that I must do everything in a flat panic. (Why not sharp panic? Hilly panic? Alright: tizzy.)

I'd offer you mine... but I think we got the same model when the FSM was handing them out.

(word verification gave me 'dtokid'. I feel awful that I can't come up with something for that, but I haven't had any chocolate or cube bugs today, so...)

Wait. You mean my psyche is defective? My BRAIN is DEFECTIVE?!? This explains so much.

I get this. I just barely thought, "I am so overwhelmed with work." And went blogging. Yeah. Doesn't really work. Must be something wrong with the connections.
