Truly, truly hilarious. Must learn to accept more reading recommendations from the LOTR gang - last one I was encouraged to read contained a rape scene followed by really bad dialogue. Not sure which was most tragic...
I don't bother much with fanfic myself, but found this via your friend Cate, and loved it. Now go and post a nice comment for her or I'll be terribly guilty over stealing her thunder.
Good lord, hasn't anyone inducted you into Cassie Claire yet? The CLAW crowd down here have been raving about them since they came out, mostly because I found them and disseminated... I've had a poster above my desk for the last three years which reads "Pervy Hobbit Fancier: Sam will kill me if I try anything." And you seriously don't want to re-watch Fellowship in a cinema with three fellow demented Diaries fans. Lots of inopportune giggling, particularly around the Horn of Gondor. And the carrot.
