Jam: no one you should recognise. I think his name was Yann Cole. Yann somebody anyway. The point was the venue more than anything else; the Casa Bar is this fantastic little smoky jazz dive that I've been hearing about for years and finally went to - day before New Year's Eve - the band played great blues, it was all marvellous.

Will I seem overly dense and/or stupid if I ask who's the guitar player? Either way, I'd like to know.
